RANDOM ACTS OF KINDNESS

by   Posted on February 17th, 2009 in Uncategorized

At school, during class some friends ask to borrow my supplies. So I let them borrow my stuff. They kept asking for it until the end of class. Then in the next class the same thing happen. I was glad to help them out, to fix their mistakes. This was my random acts of kindness for the week and I felt good to help out other people with their needs.

Nigle and Diesel

by   Posted on February 5th, 2009 in Uncategorized

Nigel and Diesel were my dog. We got them from my sister friend. My sisters and I would always play with the mom and her puppies. Then there were these two odd ones that would always stay together. The owner was giving them away because they had a lot of dogs. So we told my mom to get them, but she had issue with them. So we made a deal with her that we would do clean and pick up everything. Then the next day we bought them, but we had to wait a few month to bring they home. When the time came to pick them up, they got big since the last time we saw them.

Nigel and Diesel went in back of the truck and they like being there. When we got the out they were going wild in the backyard. My sister said that they would clean up after them, but didn’t so I was pretty much doing everything. I would play, feed, and take them BOTH for walk, which was the hardest part for me. There were times where there would be time where they did do some of the stuff.  There was a very big difference between them, Which was one was active  and other lazy at some point. Active one was Nigel and lazy one was Diesel.

We had them for about two or three years. My mom was terrified by them since they got bigger like almost every day. She didn’t even want to go outside for one second. So one day was calling for me to go inside but they were by the door then they jump on her and fell backward. She said that she didn’t want them anymore. We beg but she refuse every time. So she gave them to the shelter. That was the end of them of being my first dog ever.

Obama’s Inauguration

by   Posted on January 25th, 2009 in Uncategorized

In Obama’s inauguration speech is suppose to help us. To bring up our hope, sprite. To remind us of what are, and not by color, ethnicity, or religious belief, but by our true self. And that we are strong no matter what happens to us; but we will be strong enough to go through it, and handle it all as the U.S.A. I wish the best of luck to our new president for the future to be able to change America.

Israel and Gaza Strip

by   Posted on January 22nd, 2009 in Uncategorized

Israel is attacking Gaza because of a rumor, but this has been going for a long time. Israel started bombing Gaza before they did it first. On Saturday, January 10, 2009, a large rally march took place in San Francisco to protest Israel’s invasion of Gaza. The event was one of a series of similar events held in various cities around the country on the same day. [http://zombietime.com/gaza_war_protest/]The U.N. (United Nation) is a group of people who protect innocent people. The U.N. has 192 representatives in its group. The majority population is Jewish 76.4% (of which Israel-born 67.1%, Europe/America-born 22.6%, Africa-born 5.9%, Asia-born 4.2%), non-Jewish 23.6% (mostly Arab); 50% of the population is children and the rest are adults. I think that this war should stop now which it did, but with failure to the Israel.

In September 2005, Israel gave up Gaza, took apart all the settlements in the Gaza Strip and did not leave a shred of a presence there. In January 2006, rule over Gaza passed to the Hamas government under Ismail Haniyeh. Instead of bringing investors to Gaza, the Hamas government brought the guerrilla-warfare trainers of the Irsnian Revolutionary Guard. Instead of launching economic projects, this government launched rockets every day at Israeli towns and villages across the border. They smuggled in vast amounts of explosives, weapons and rockets; they prepared themselves for battle. In June 2007, in a brutal and bloody military coup, Hamas took control of Gaza and soon killed or chased out the leaders of President Mahmoud Abbas’s Fatah movement. Gaza became nothing less than a military base for Iran.

“According to Sara Roy, to begin its attacks, the Israelis broke the truce that Hamas had observed for the past several months. Following that attack Israel has squeezed Gaza in virtually every possible way, blocking food supplies for United Nations Relief and Works and the World Food Program, refusing to permit entry of diesel fuel needed to run Gaza’s power station, interfering with the operations of Palestinian banks, blocking the movements of Palestinians, and preventing the entry of journalists or other observers into Gaza. There is no other example of a modern military power attacking an unarmed population this brutally and indiscriminately. The Israeli plan is to turn Gaza into a massive problem that is unavoidable. That means the Israelis want the outside world to forget that the Palestinian people, especially those in Gaza, are the other side of the long-stalled Israel/Palestine peace process. However, the Israelis attacks look like an obvious effort to kill, wound, cut up, and render homeless as many Palestinians as possible before world reaction sets in.”
